Ibumie ala Miso Mee is our spin on the seaweed soup, which is a popular soup cooked in most Chinese, Japanese and Korean homes. Some will add in egg drops, tofu, scallion and meat to complete the dish. At Ibumie, we use Wakame, a species of edible seaweed which is rich in iodine and minerals to give our broth a subtly sweet, but distinctive and strong flavour mouth feel. Adding a sachet of sesame oil brings you a wholesome and nutritious bowl of noodles, suitable even for vegetarians.
